Who is MaD?

MaD Ministries is a Christian charity that has its base in the Maranatha centre, Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, Scotland.

"MaD" just stands for "Making a Difference", and is based on the Bible verse "...and on some have compassion, making a difference..." (Jude 22, NKJV)

We feel there is nothing more important in today's world than making a good, positive difference in the live of children and young people.

At present we have two full-time staff, one part-time staff and ten volunteers who work mainly in North and South Lanarkshire, as well as a few Glasgow schools.

We can also visit different schools in Scotland when invited.

MAD in Schools is supported by donations and any grants we can acquire. We make no charge to the schools. All gifts towards our ministry would be greatly appreciated. See our "you can be mad" page for more details.

Peace of mind

For your peace of mind all our staff and volunteers of MAD in Schools are fully disclosed through Disclosure Scotland to work in your school environment.

Also we use our own PA and visual equipment as we travel around. This equipment has all been PAT tested.
